Current Progress
I'm still working on the game for a full release this year, hopefully. The memory issues in SCI0 requires some rewriting of the code and I've completely rewritten the memory system to dynamically load inventory items only when they exist in the player's inventory. I've also added right click to look to all scenes as a significant amount of feedback was around having issues with parser usage. I've fixed some of the prompts that were too ambiguous and caused confusion as well. I've also added progress tracker in the code to keep track of points and progress markers to make keep track of things easy, with an effort to memory usage as low as possible. The memory management in SCI0 is still pretty bad, which makes QFG1 (and all SCI0 games really) that much more impressive since it had to deal with the issues as well.
The next steps are to see if I can find other artists interested in making some more scenes and fully developing the story and puzzles behind the game.
